This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Math, Engineering and Physics Department and reports to the Department Chair.
This is a part-time faculty position. Expectations for this position include teaching two college level Engineering courses in the Spring Semester that are four credit hours each, Statics and Dynamics. Both of these courses are offered four days per week (Monday – Thursday) in an eight-week format. These courses could be taught in a hybrid format (partially face to face and partially on-line) and will require the use of instructional technology in and out of the classroom. Engineering faculty members teach and supervise all learning experiences and evaluate student performance in the classroom.
A Master’s Degree or higher with a minimum of eighteen graduate hours in Engineering is required. Preference will be given to applicants with college teaching experience. Candidates for this position should have a mastery of Engineering and have a commitment to excellence in teaching.
